The Wedding Committee serves as a liaison for wedding party to the priest/church.
A wedding committee member is a facilitator and oversees the wedding logistics at our church.
S/he will
   1. meet with the bride and groom to discuss the wedding ceremony/mass logistics, gather the names of those participating in the liturgy, i.e. readers, MOH, Best Man, etc.
   2. explain the unique parts of the Rite of Marriage: Procession, Unity Candle, Arras, etc.
   3. explain what we offer and what we can do in the church; see HFN Wedding Guidelines.
   4. facilitate the rehearsal, usually on Friday before the wedding.
   5. open the church, set-up and make ready for the briday party, assist in getting the happy couple up the aisle!
