The Sacraments are an important part of our life as Catholics. It is through the sacraments that Jesus is made visibly present to us...an outward sign and symbol of the inner grace of life in Him. Whether it is a sacrament you may receive daily, such as Eucharist, or one-time, such as Baptism, Jesus stands ready to pour out His Holy Spirit in a tangible and powerful way through the sacraments.
Christ's saving work is continued in the Church through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Requesting Sacramental Records/Certificates
All requests for sacramental certificates must be made in writing by the recipient of the sacrament unless it is a minor child, in which case the parent or guardian should request the certificate. Full name, date of birth and approximate date of sacrament are needed. Also specify if you would like to pick up the certificate at our office or give a mailing address. Please allow one week for completion. Email Request for certificate
Infant Baptism: The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated monthly during Mass. Registration is required for baptism. See our baptism checklist for more details.
Sacraments of Initation: Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist (Communion). Anyone over the age of 7+ desiring baptism enters this process, Rite of Christian Initiation. Anyone already baptized (Catholic or another denomination) and desiring to complete these sacraments and enter full-communion with the Church, please email RCIA@holyfamilychurch.net.
Eucharist: See the mass schedule
Reconciliation: Wednesdays, 6-7pm; Saturdays, 4-5pm and by appointment
Confirmation: The diocese requires two years of formation before celebrating the sacrament. Holy Family confirms youth in the 8th grade for those who have regularly attended Faith Formation or a Catholic school.
Marriage: Please contact the parish office at least six months before your desired wedding date. Marriage preparation is required by the Catholic Church. A marriage is elevated to the level of a sacrament when a man and a woman unite themselves in a covenant before God for the whole of life.
Anointing of the Sick: Please call the office for details about receiving the sacrament.
Holy Orders: Please call the pastor.
