Welcome! Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to the Spirit…through Baptism we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church, and are made sharers in her mission. (CCC #1213)
We welcome your family on this joyous occasion and look forward to helping you prepare to celebrate your infant's baptism! Please contact us 2-3 months ahead of your desired baptism date. Date of baptism will not be confirmed until all paperwork is completed and on file with the office.
The information here refers to the baptism of children 6 years old and younger. If your child is older than 6, please click HERE.
Baptism Formation class is required for both parents and godparents. Baptism preparation is designed to provide the formation and information needed to understand the Sacrament of Baptism and your role as a Catholic parent/godparent.
At Holy Family of Nazareth, baptisms are celebrated at one of the five regularly scheduled Masses on the third weekend of the month.
Please note: all documents required by canon (church) law must be on file with the church office prior to choosing a baptism date. We finalize our baptism schedule one month before the baptism weekend. Scheduling any celebrations or placing a deposit with a venue without a confirmed date of baptism from the church office is at your own risk.
