Adult Confirmation - For all baptized adults who have not celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation. Formation sessions are typically held in the spring of each year.
When young people are confirmed, they affirm the committment that was made for them at their baptism. Our mission is to build upon the Church's vision of the family as the primary educators of youth. In keeping with this teaching, our Confirmation sessions will be a faith journey for the Confirmation candidates as well as their parents. Holy Family prepares all candidates for sacraments (those in Catholic schools and the Religious Education Program, TYM) in family sessions with their parents/guardian.
Furthermore, as our Diocese requires formation to begin the year before receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation, each teen is encouraged to attend the Junior Total Youth Ministry program events on Sunday evenings during their seventh and eigth grade years. The first Confirmation Family Session is typically in April of the 7th grade year.
For more information on our sacramental preparation program, please contact Jason in the Office of Youth Ministry.
