Children's Faith Formation

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION CLASSES (sometimes referred to as CCD or Sunday School)
Children 4 years old through 6th grade meet on Sunday mornings, from 10:15am to 11:45am, for the study of the Catholic faith and discussions on how to apply this faith to their daily lives.

The Religious Education Office is located in the cafeteria and is staffed on Sunday mornings when classes are in session.   Staff is available to assist  you in our parish office weekdays between 8:30am-4:30pm.

  • Fee Schedule: Fee for classes is  $60 per child, $50 for each additional child, with a $130 maximum per family, plus supplies.  Early registration is encouraged. There is a late fee of $15 for registration after September 1.
  • Calendar: Classes start on September 8, 2013 and end on May 4, 2013.
  • Registration Form.  Each family completes and submits a registration form to parish staff.  (Spanish Registration Form)

A family can register for classes in one of the following three ways; each process involves a brief discussion with a parish staff member to ensure children are assigned to appropriate class:
1.  Download, complete, and bring registration forms to the parish office.
2.  Visit parish office to obtain and complete registration forms.
3.  On-site registration in the parish hall on Sunday, August 11,2013 after the 8:00am, 10:00am, and the 12:00noon masses.

Children who are preparing for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation attend formation sessions with their parents. Call the parish office for registration information. Sacrament Registration Form 2013-2014.

CATECHESIS FOR ALL (C.ALL) is a Holy Family of Nazareth ministry, whose mission is to embrace and catechize those with special needs, regardless of circumstance.  Click here for more information.

This annual summer event offers children the opportunity to come together for one week during the summer to celebrate as a community and to learn more about the Catholic faith. For more information on VBS, please see the VBS page.

Children who are not baptized, were baptized in another faith tradition, or were baptized in the Catholic faith but uncatechized, come together with their parents on Sunday mornings to study the Catholic faith and prepare to receive the sacraments. For more information, please see the RCIA page.

This ministry makes it possible for young children (ages 4-8) to hear the message of the Sunday readings on their level. They are dismissed from the Sanctuary at the 10:00am and 12:00pm masses and return after the homily.
